If you still regret breaking up with your high school sweetheart — or mourns the fact that you never told the object of your affection how you really felt back then, take heart. A second chance may be the cards.
Jeremy Sondah and Charlesetta Nagbe who met back in 2004 are set to tie the knot at the end of this year. With the wedding scheduled to take place few miles away from where the Groom-To-Be asked the Bride-To-Be to date him.
They met in Junior High, at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, where Jeremy was a grade ahead of Cece — and he was hopelessly in love with her. As time went by they began to strike up conversations on their own, slowly getting to know each other, through the influence of James Momo, Cece classmate back then.
Gradually, Cece fell in love with Jeremy, although at the time she probably hadn’t dated anyone before and she had no idea on what she was doing. Therefore she couldn’t fully appreciate him at the time.
They went out for almost months — and even went to lunch together — until Jeremy left for Nigeria to further his education. As a result, the teenagers lovebirds were separated from each other, leaving Cece heart broken.
He flew back home after his studies in Nigeria, thinking of how to reconnect with the love of his life, his efforts were to little/no avail. He got a lot of help from James Momo, after they both got in touch on social media.
Seeing her will make me realize there’s still something out there for me, as Jeremy would usually say after meeting with James for the first time since his arrival. He was probably in an unhappy relationship at the time. Soon after, he met Cece, they both went on a real date. Few years later, they were living together.
Been dating since his return from Nigeria, Jeremy Sondah and Charlesetta Nagbe now have two children. According to a close friend to Cece, she stated Cece would always say that Jeremy brought out the best in her, and everyone knew she would end up with him, that she just needed to do some life learning before she realized that.
After dating for years, Jeremy proposed to Cece. They’re set to wed in December 2019.
I don’t know if I could have gone through what they went through at such a young age. But I do know that I have never met people with so much love, and I admire them every day for it.
